Yes, that is my real name. My parents seem to have a sense of humor. Or so they think. I was born and raised in Iowa City, Iowa. Our home was filled with cats & dogs. I was the kid who brought home every stray, begging my parents "can we keep them?". Or having my parents rescue animals who were being mistreated. My love and compassion for animals started at an early age. And has only grown over time.

I moved to San Francisco in 1995. In 2000, I attended college studying Veterinary Nursing, Trying to earn extra money while in college, I occasionally did some pet sitting and dog walking. Eventually I had built a sizeable number of clients. And this is when it occurred to me, "I can offer my services full time and make a living doing it."

"It's the kind of thing people dream about all their lives, having a job they love. It never feels like work to me." After more than 9 years, much has changed. But some things never will. "I work with the best people in the world - animal lovers! What could be better? I get to take care of all these wonderful pets and love them like my own. I've worked with many of them since they were young."
